BBC - June 2005

This was the year that Ascot came to Yorkshire! The BBC decided to feature a variety of West Yorkshires finest businesses that would be contributing to make our one and only Ascot day ‘Up North’ a success.

They called in at the factory and interviewed Dale and this was shown on the BBC news, this again proved to be another great piece of marketing for our company, ensuring new customers were driven to us through the TV coverage.

The actress Claire King of Emmerdale and Bad Girls fame, was having a bespoke suit manufactured for the event when the press arrived and the spin off from these two combined events ended up with Dale being interviewed on Radio Leeds and featured widely in the Yorkshire Post newspaper and other local rags!

As you can see in this clip, the event was a huge success, as was Claire’s suit!
